The Farm consists of 12 acres of
raspberries,
and a few blackberries
Chillawack
There are 8 different varieties of raspberries
providing a supply of fresh raspberries from mid December to Mid May.
The Summer Crops begin in mid December and finish late February and
the Autumn Crop begins in late February and ends around Mother’s Day in
May.
Summer varieties include;
An old fashioned variety Willamette and ,
Tullamine Chilcottin,
Chilawack.
Autumn Varieties include;
Autumn Bliss and the latest variety Heritage.
All variety of raspberries are snap frozen for the
rest of the year (known in the industry as Individually Frozen Raspberries
IQF) are available for the rest of the year.
Tours of the Raspberry Farm can be arranged but do need forward
booking the cost being $20 per tour, we encourage customers to explore the
grounds and lakes wander over to the raspberry fields.
The farm grounds are very beautiful with an abundance of bird life .
